Like many other RPGs before it,Dragon’s Dogma 2allows players to share a little love with other characters. Although maybe not to the extent ofBaldur’s Gate 3, for instance, where you can almost get away with anything in the lust department, having a relationship system is certainly a well received feature in games for many players.
If you have always wanted to ‘Princess Carry’ the love of your fantasy life around the lands of Vermund and Battahl, Dragon’s Dogma players can do just that, so be prepared to get those arms ripped!

Dragon’s Dogma 2 Player Makes The Ultimate Big Brain Play To Descend Cliff
Can’t be bothered to take the long way around? This player has a solution.
Romance in Dragon’s Dogma 2is pretty much like real life, to an extent. Just like someone you have a crush on in reality, the game has implemented an “affinity” system whereby finding out what your NPC likes via the Logbook, you then buy them gifts based on that in a bid to get them to like you - hence, starting up a nice little romance with a worthy suitor.

Of course, once the relationship blossoms, what’s next? Thankfully, Capcom has already thought ahead about what players would want from a romantic encounter, and going by fans' response to a newfound feature, it seems as though the studio has given them exactly what they wanted.
Twitter userTheSphereHunterhas taken to socials to shout from the hilltops about how players can ‘Princess Carry’ their character once they become fully romanceable. The term comes from Japanese fiction, but outside of this, many people would know it as ‘Bridal Carry’, a traditional act of usually a man carrying his wife when they first get married. Going off the comments under the image of Hunter carrying their romantic character in their arms, fans of the game were already calling Dragon’s Dogma 2 “GOTY”.

“This is the most convincing selling point I’ve seen so far,” said FizzAgain, with The Washington Post’s reporter and critic Gene Park exclaiming “Starting a novelty Twitter account @CanIPrincessCarrythem so we can get this trend going”. Others called it an “important feature”, while another user shared that they “needed to buy this game”.
However, for those who want nothing more than to ‘Princess Carry’Wilhelmina, proprietress of the Rose Chateau, it seems as though you’ll be bang out of luck.Accordingto another player, Wilhelmina leaves after her final cut scene and can’t be found anywhere. Someone commented that “Literally one of the characters used to promote the game, feels a bit disingenuous”. So it looks like not everyone can be carried about.
