Stone Oceanis the fifth season of Netflix’sJoJo’s Bizarre Adventureanime series. It is the sixth story arc in Hirohiko Araki’s JoJo manga series, and it follows the story of Jolyne Cujoh, the daughter of Jotaro Kujo. Cujoh spends 15 years of her life in prison after getting framed by a DIO’S disciple who wants to kill her inside the prison.
Jotaro informs his daughter of everything and asks her to escape the prison to save her life. However, things only get difficult for them after Whitesnake removes Jotaro’s Stand and memories.
Netflix released thefirst twelve episodesofStone Oceanon December 1st, 2021. As expected, most JoJo fans loved what the anime adaptation had to offer, and now, everyone wants to see Part 2 ofStone Oceanwith more episodes.
How Many Episodes Will Stone Ocean have?
David Productions didn’t give us an official episode count forStone Ocean. However, we estimate that Season 5 of the anime adaptation will feature around 35-40 episodes.
TheStone Oceanmanga had a total of 158 chapters, and the anime adaptation has adapted 50 chapters in the first 12 episodes. Like the 50th chapter, Episode 12 ends with the SPW messenger taking the disc and flying away with it. On the other hand, Jolyne attaches a string to the Stand to reveal the identity of its user. However, Pucci leaves the spot unspotted as some guards approach the scene.
So, if David Production follows a similar trend, we might get at least 24 more episodes to cover the rest of the story arc, and Episode 13 will pick up with chapter 51, titledThe Kiss of Love and Revenge.
Is There a Release Date for JoJo’s Stone Ocean Episode 13?
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Stone OceanPart 2 doesn’t have an official release date when writing this article.
The previousJoJoanime seasons mostly released new episodes on a weekly basis. However, Netflix used a different approach withStone Oceanand released the first twelve episodes as a batch. Of course,JoJoenthusiasts are thrilled to get multipleStone Oceanepisodes on a single day, but we don’t know how long we’d have to wait for further episodes.
That said, Episodes 1-12 will broadcast in Japan starting January 8th, 2022. So, we might get Part 2 when the broadcast of the first part concludes in Japan. And if that’s the case, we’ll hear the release date forStone Oceanepisode 13 sometime between February - March 2022.
