As reported byInsider Gaming, it seems some outlets will soon receive access to playDiablo 4and interview the developers, with the embargo for this coverage lifting earlier next month before The Game Awards 2022 ceremony.

In a previous report,Windows Centralclaimed that the Diablo 4 pre-order will include a bonus that would allow players to receive early access to the game’s beta version in 2023, which is yet to be confirmed by the developer. A few weeks earlier, some sources confirmed that Diablo 4 closed testing sessions began, but since the participants were under NDA, no footage or screenshots were allowed to be shared publicly.

Earlier this year, Blizzard shared a new trailer from Diablo 4, revealing the fifth and final character class of the game Necromancers. The game still targets a 2023 launch, but it is yet to be seen whether the developers would skip the last-gen console or still keep PS4 and Xbox One a part of the plan.

Before Diablo 4 arrives, Blizzard launchedDiablo Immortalon PC and mobile earlier this year, which received highly negative reviews from fans of the series due to the game’s grind-heavy progression system that would force players to purchase in-game items to level-up their character faster. Surely, this shouldn’t be the case with Diablo 4, but it remains unknown how successful it would become after launch.

Blizzard has big plans to deliver post-launch endgame content for Diablo 4, as the developer shared some details about both multiplayer and single-player endgame content in the recent showcase of the game back in June 2022.

As Diablo 4 is not available for pre-order yet, we don’t anything about its pricing, but we can guess it follows Activision’s plan to get released on PC and current-gen consoles for $69.99, similar toCall of Duty Modern Warfare 2.
