How To Unlock Item Enchantment
The term “Enchantment” is used extremely loosely in Diablo games and can often refer to multiple things. Diablo 4’sSorcerer classhas a unique specialization method calledEnchantment, and Elite enemies' special effects are often referred to as “Enchantments.” Hopefully this confusion will be reduced in further updates.
Just like many other more advanced features in Diablo 4, you won’t be able to Enchant items right from the start. For this particular kind of Enchantment, players must reach at least Level 25. After this, any Occultistwill offer to Enchant items in addition to the other options they already provide.

Item Enchantment Requirements & Restrictions
In order to Enchant an item at anOccultist, it must beRare or Legendary in quality. As with most other services available in Diablo 4, Enchanting items has agold cost. This one is particularly heavy, with the price going up each and every time you Enchant an item.
Additionally, Enchanting your itemsrequires rare materials.Veiled Crystalsare easy enough to find, since you collect them whenever you salvage Rare items at the Blacksmith.Fiend Rosesare a little more complicated, and can only be obtained duringHelltide Events. There is one more limitation related to Enchanting Items. Items in Diablo 4 can only have specific Affixes depending on what slot the item goes into. This is true for Aspects as well. For example, Boots may have +% Movement Speed, while Gloves may not.Plan your preferred Affixes accordingly.
