Buried Bloodline is obtained after beating the final boss Hefnd’s Vengeances in the Warlord’s Ruin as a random RNG drop. However, there are certain ways in which you can boost the chance of the weapon’s drop rate.

Buried Bloodline Weapon Overview
Buried Bloodline is aSpecial ammo Sidearmthat fires two shots at once. Thanks to its Intrinsic Exotic trait Hungering Quarrel, it fires double shots at a single trigger pull, and these shots are tracking projectiles. Hitting shots with this Exotic also grants you health.
Buried Bloodline also has an Exotic trait calledViolent Reanimation, which grants the player Devour upon getting rapid final blows with this weapon. This is beneficial as it gives players Devour on any subclass, not justthe Void subclass.

How To Get Buried Bloodline Exotic Sidearm
Buried Bloodline is anRNG drop Exotic weapon, meaning you have a chance of obtaining it whenever you beat the final boss, Hefnd’s Vengeance, of the Warlord’s Ruin Dungeon. You might be lucky enough to get in on the first try, or you might not get it even after 50 completions.
However, there is a way toboost your chancesof getting the Exotic bycompleting certain triumphsthat are associated with the Warlord’s Ruin Dungeon. To find these triumphs, head over to the Triumph section, then go to the Legend tab, and finally go to the Warlord’s Ruin section.

Here you will find certain triumphs that will have the following inscription:
Boosts your chance of getting the Buried Bloodline Exotic for the first time.

Completing these triumphs will increase your chance of getting a Buried Bloodline and will make your RNG luck much less painful. Triumphs that increase the drop rate are as follows:

How To Unlock Buried Bloodline’s Exotic Catalyst
To unlock the Buried Bloodline’s Exotic Catalyst, you must first have the Exotic itself, and then you mustsolve three short puzzlesanddefeat a bossin theWarlord’s Ruin Dungeon. After you defeat the boss, you willautomatically get the Exotic Catalyst.
You must have the quest “In the Shadow of the Mountain” completed to get the Exotic Catalyst.

The Exotic Catalyst of Ruined Bloodline is extremely strong. It allows the Exotic toWeaken combatantson hits as long as you have Devour active. Weaken is a Void Subclass verb that increases the damage dealt to enemy combatants by 15%.
First Puzzle
To start the first puzzle, you must complete the first encounter of Warlord’s Ruin and then free yourself from the prison section. Then, in the corner of the room, you will see a locked grate. Behind it, you will see a Taken Blight.
The Blights that you need to cleanse will be determined bythe torches that are lit up.
If you are successful, you will get the following prompt:
An unspoken wish is silenced. Buried Bloodline clicks audibly.
If you are unable to do the above step before the timer of Imminent Wish runs out, you will fail, but you will be able to try again by shooting the Taken Blight.
Second Puzzle
The second puzzle is before the second encounter of the Warlord’s Ruin near the bridge. Before starting the puzzle,take care of all the enemiesthat spawn on the bridge, and then turn around and look at the tower that is present at the start of the bridge.
On the left side of the tower, you will see a Taken Blight present that you can shoot to start the second puzzle.Shooting the Taken Blightwilllight up three out of five torcheson the side of the tower where you jumped on the bridge in the first place.
If you are successful, you will once again get the prompt:
An unspoken wish is silenced. Buried Bloodline clicks audibly.” If you fail, you can simply just try again.

Third Puzzle
To activate the third puzzle, you must progress through the Dungeon until you reach thearea before the third encounterwhere there are three mountains with a large Taken Blight in the middle.
From where you enter this area, look at the left mountain and, in a hallway, you will see the Taken Blight which you can shoot to start the final puzzle. When youshoot the Taken Blight, the torches on the mountain directly in front of you will light up.
If you are successful, you will once again get the prompt. After you’ve completed all the puzzles, you’ll be able to fight a secret boss and claim the Exotic Catalyst.
The Boss Fight
Continue through the jumping puzzle and right before thefinal boss fight, you will enter a final tower, where you can see a light orb floating in the middle. If you have completedthe quest “In the Shadow of the Mountain”,you will be able to interact with it, and it will teleport you to a secret room.
When you enter the secret room, the boss fight will begin. The boss will be shielded, and to remove her shields, you must do the same mechanic that you did in the three puzzles.
After you have successfully cleansed the Taken Blights, the boss shield will go down, and you will get a limited time in which you may damage the boss. After you kill the boss, you will automatically receive the Exotic Catalyst for Buried Bloodline. You are not required to do the final encounter of Warlord’s Ruin.
If you are not able to defeat the boss within the limited time, the boss shield will appear again, and you will have to repeat the entire mechanic.
After obtaining the Catalyst you will berequired to kill a specific number of combatantswith Buried Bloodline. Afterward, the Catalyst will be completely unlocked. You will then be able to Weaken combatants with Buried Bloodline, whenever you have Devour activated.
