With the start of week 7, we’ve reached the halfway point between the start and end of the season. If you’ve been neglecting seasonal challenges, now might be a good time to start working toward them.
More Than A Weapon VII
Complete Week 7 of “More Than a Weapon.”
Defeat Hive and Fallen bosses anywhere in the system. Bonus progress for defeating them in Heist Battlegrounds and the Exotic mission “Operation: Seraph’s Shield.”

Rewards: Exo Frame Module, Challenger XP++
The “More Than a Weapon” seasonal questline comes to a pause at the end of this week’s storyline. Of course, it won’t really resolve anything, but that’s becausewe’ll be getting the seasonal story conclusion toward the end of the season, closer to Lightfall’s release. Players who boot up the game will receive this message: “During the final two weeks of Season of the Seraph, a special finale quest and activity will be available for all players. Season Pass owners who have completed the “More Than a Weapon” quest will start the finale quest automatically upon log in.”
This isn’t terribly different from what they’ve done previously, other than the fact that they’re letting players know ahead of time, which is a nice quality of life improvement, if a minor one.

Head over the the H.E.L.M.and interact with Rasputin to begin this next leg of the seasonal questline.
Legendary Heists
Complete a Heist Battleground on Legend difficulty.
Rewards: Challenger XP+
This will more or less the same process as playing through a regular Heist Battleground, except it’ll be much tougher andwithout the usual convenience of matchmaking. Gather up your fireteam for this extra challenging run. The reward is only XP+, which might feel a little underwhelming at this point in the season, but every little bit counts.
Down To Size
Defeat targets with Trace Rifles, Glaives, and Linear Fusion Rifles in Gambit. Bonus progress for defeating invading Guardians.
Rewards: Challenger XP++, Bright Dust
At this point in the season, you might have a hefty build-up of Gambit-related challenges. Now’s a great time to hit them hard! You’ll need to defeat targets withTrace Rifles, Glaives, and Linear Fusion Rifles. You can head into Gambit with this as your loadout, though you might find yourself in a bit of an ammo bind. Whether you focus on these weapons one at a time or if you want to spread the love over a bunch of matches, this challenge rewards the ever-coveted Bright Dust for your Eververse needs.
Grandmaster
Complete any Nightfall strike on Grandmaster.
Rewards: Challenger XP+++, Bright Dust
Similar to completing the Heist Battleground activity on Legendary difficulty, Grandmaster is the highest difficulty for Nightfall strikes.Requiring a power of 1,580or higher, you still might want to strive for a power of 1,595 to minimize your struggles. Also like the Legendary Heist Battleground activity, you’ll beunable to matchmaketo complete this challenge, so gather up your best fireteam and strike hard and fast, Guardian!
As of the week of publishing, the Nightfall strike available is The Insight Terminus.

Heist Battlegrounds VI
In the Heist Battlegrounds playlist, complete heists and defeat combatants with Season of the Seraph or IKELOS weapons.
Like the previous Heist Battlegrounds seasonal challenges, you’re tasked with completing ahigher number of Heist Battlegrounds(now 35) to complete this challenge. You’ll also need to defeat combatants with Season of the Seraph or IKELOS weapons, but that one is a bit less time-consuming. This challenge isthankfully retroactive, so you should have already put a bit of a dent into this, if not completed it outright.

Seasonal Shaping II
Earn levels with Shaped Seasonal or IKELOS v1.0.3 weapons.
While this can take a while, you’ve likely been working towardunlocking craftingfor the seasonal or IKELOS weapons all season. Whether you’ve already unlocked one, some, or none, this challenge is relatively straightforward. Once you’veunlocked the pattern, craft your very own version of one of these weapons andlevel it 10 times. This isn’t super quick, but all of the weapons this season are pretty great, so pick your favorite and have at it.

Fleeting Glory
Complete Crucible matches in the Competitive playlist. Earn bonus progress for wins.
Another straightforward challenge, this time for our best friend, Lord Shaxx. Head into theCrucible’s competitive playlistand complete matches. Bonus progress from wins, so try your best, but this challenge will complete even if you’re having a particularly hard time in PVP. If you aren’t super into Crucible or battling other Guardians, this challenge is still worth doing for that sweet, sweet Bright Dust — plus a boatload of XP in the form of Challenger XP+++.
