Destiny 2’s 19th season, Season of the Seraph, has enteredweek 2. Along with the newDawning eventfor 2022, brings with it another week of seasonal challenges. These can range from quick challenges to be completed in a solid gaming session toseason-long pursuits.

They’ll pay off in the end, though, since most reward the player with varying amounts of XP for leveling up the Season Pass, along with the ever-covetedBright Dust.
More Than A Weapon II
Complete Week 2 of “More Than A Weapon.”
Rewards: Exo Frame Module, Challenger XP
This seasonal challenge is related to the main season storyline,More Than A Weapon. Visit theClovis Bray AI on the H.E.L.M.to encounter an argument between the Exo Stranger, Ana Bray, and Clovis Bray to begin week 2’s quest steps.
Fire In The Void
Defeat combatants with Void or Solar damage in Heist Battlegrounds.
Rewards: XP+
Fairly straightforward compared to some other seasonal challenges, this simply tasks you with getting final blows with Void or Solar damage. You can accomplish this with theVoid or Solar subclass abilitiesor utilizing Void or Solarenergy or power weapons. Use both to finish this challenge quickly.
Cosmodrome Activities
In the Cosmodrome, earn progress by completing bounties, patrols, public events, and Lost Sectors.
Rewards: Challenger XP+, Bright Dust
It’s time to return to theCosmodrome, the ole New Light stomping grounds. Due to this area being built around the new player experience, thebounties here are extremely straightforward, making this challenge another easy one to complete.

Mid-Range Calibration
Calibrate mid-range weapons – Hand Cannons, Glaives, Auto Rifles, Fusion Rifles, Machine Guns – in the Cosmodrome. Bonus progress for rapidly defeating combatants.
Ah, synergy! Make sure to equip any of the abovemid-range weapons(preferably in all 3 weapon slots) while you are working on completing theCosmodrome Activitiesweekly seasonal challenge in order to quickly progress through both at once. The Cosmodrome is a pretty fun location, but by this point, veterans might be a bit sick of it; make sure you’re working on both of these challenges at the same time to streamline your experience.

Freezing Void
Defeat Guardians. Bonus progress is granted for opponents defeat with Void or Stasis effects.
Go have a chat withLord Shaxxand grab some Crucible bounties; it’s time to slay some fellow Guardians! you may of course hold off on this to build up a few more Crucible-related challenges for the season if you aren’t much of a PVP player, but otherwise, get in there and slay to your heart’s content. Just make sure you’ve got someVoid or Stasisweapons equipped. Subclass too. Why not both?

Heist Battlegrounds II
In the Heist Battlegrounds playlist, complete heists and defeat Deathtongue Choristers.
Rewards: Exo Frame Module, Challenger XP+
Head into your new favorite seasonal activities. This challenge won’t prove too difficult. Just make sure to run some Heist Battleground activities, and make sure tohelp slay the Deathtongue Choristers(seriously, kill these when they show up; it’ll make everyone’s job easier). You can focus-fire Heist Battlegrounds to finish this quickly, but it might be easier to ignore it and play as normal; you’ll still finish this in no time.

Umbral Focusing I
Focus a Season of the Seraph engram at the Exo Frame in the H.E.L.M.
Rewards: Challenger XP
A simple challenge, simplybring an Engram to the Exo Framein the H.E.L.M. to focus. This challenge doesn’t offer much in the way of rewards, but that’s because the challenge itself is so simple. Due to the ‘1’ designation on this challenge, expect to see a more involved variation later on this season.
Lost In The Legend
Complete a Lost Sector on Legend or Higher.
This might feela bit intimidatingif you haven’t completed a Lost Sector on Legend or higher difficulty yet, but it also might feel a bit old hat to veterans. Make sure youpay careful attention to the Champions presentand equip the proper counter mods. These are crucial to ensure victory. Play carefully, and you’ll be flying through these in no time.

Bank, Kill, Repeat
Earn points by banking Motes, defeating Blockers, and defeating Guardians in Gambit.
It’s time for someGambit action! If you aren’t too keen on playing a ton of Gambit this season,consider hoarding your Gambit-related challengesuntil much later. Toward the end of the season, you’ll have a good 4 or 5 Gambit-related challenges to complete, and you can progress them all at once. If you’d rather play a little Gambit throughout the season, or if you just adore the game mode, feel free to jump right in!

The Fallen Fall
Defeat Fallen combatants in Vanguard playlists or strikes. Earn bonus progress for defeating tougher combatants.
While we’ve gained some great Eliksni allies throughout the previous seasons, there are still plenty ofhostile Fallenout there in the various strikes available in theVanguard playlist. A pretty simple challenge; simply slay Fallen enemies in Vanguard playlists or strikes, and you’ll eventually earn some greatXP and Bright Dust rewards.
