As of writing this article, Demon Slayer season 3, episode 5, has been released, where we saw the Kamado siblings struggling for life at the hands of various of Hantengu’s personalities. While they ran for their lives,Nezuko realized that she and her brother were not powerful enough to take down their deadly foes in their present condition. That’s when she took hold of Tanjiro’s sword, even hurting herself with its blade.
It seemed like she was terrified to let her brother face off against the Demons, but in reality, she was trying to enhance his brother’s sword’s attacking abilities by activating the true potential of the sword. That’s when Tanjiro got the courage to stand against the Demons, and in an instant, he was able to behead Urogi, Karaku, and Sekido with the burning sword, which didn’t look any less than a deadly dance of fire.

The Bright Red Nichirin Sword may be a thing of beauty, but it takes a skilled and powerful Demon Slayer to wield it. And Tanjiro is just the man for the job. Not only does he possess the strength and agility needed to handle such a weapon, but he has also awakened hisDemon Slayer Marknot once but twice. The first time was during his epic battle with Gyutaro, and now, in the latest episode, he awakens it once again before beheading not one, not two, but three Demons simultaneously. Talk about a power move!
Tanjiro’s moves were a sight to behold, and surely fans want to see him continue fighting the same way. But it’s easier said than done because the duration to keep the sword ablaze is limited. Also, the color that each sword will unleash is different, depending on the abilities of the wielder, but bright red is the common one. The time to keep the blade on fire might be less, but if the wielder uses the given time perfectly, it would be enough to take down even the greatest Demons in an instant. Additionally, it has the ability to cancel out the regenerative powers of the Demons.
