How to Build Hot Springs
Out of all the structures in Death Stranding 2, building Hot Springs is arguably the most challenging, due to the lack of locations that allow for it. Seriously, it took me two hours to find a spot that didn’t give me an error message.
When attempting to build a Hot Spring, the"Hydrothermal Sensor Reading"message will appear. Next to this message, either Null, Faint, or Strong will be displayed.

Nullmeans you are nowhere near a location that will allow you to build a Hot Spring,Faintmeans you’re getting close, andStrongmeans that you’re almost in the correct spot.
Luckily, yourPCC LV 2, which is the required item to build a Hot Spring, will beep to help lead you to a usable position. If the beeping grows louder, this means you are walking in the correct direction.

Keep following the sounds until the Hydrothermal Sensor Reading reads “Strong” and the hologram of the Hot Spring becomes blue. Once it does, finalize the Hot Spring bypressing R2 to build.
