The Peggy Rifle is one of the most powerful players can get early on inDead Island 2, but it is hidden behind a side quest that is easy to miss. One of the first NPCs you meet in the game is Curtis Sinclair, and after you have completed The Red Mist quest, you canhead to Bel-Airto unlock a new side quest, Creature Comfort.

One would wonder that such a valuable weapon would warrant a really fancy treasure, but Curtis' treasure is his alcohol. To start the quest, head to Emma’s Mansion and speak to Curtis.
Mission Walkthrough
Once you are finished talking with Curtis, you will get two objectives, to get whiskey and wine from GOAT Pen and Colt Swanson’s mansion respectively. you may go to either of the places first, as per your preference. However, just for the sake of proximity to Curtis, It shouldn’t be that difficult for you to locate Colt Swanson’s mansion, as it is one of the first houses you will see when you start at Bel-Air.
Finding The 18-year-old Ardkillin Whiskey
If you wanna become an explorer and see what secrets Colt Swanson’s mansion has within, then you can start by inspecting the different variety of alcohol that is present in the house. Eventually, with the help of a series of clues they will get their hands on the Ardkillin whiskey. Players can start off by picking up theArdkillin Delivery clue, and then making their way to the final objective.
Alternatively, you can head directly to the place where the whiskey is located. Head outside andtake the staircasewhich is located right outside his house. Once you are upstairs,enter the bedroom via the foyer, but be careful, it isfilled with traps, so you need to ensure that you tread the area carefully. You will eventually reach acloset with Cindy’s safe, and that’s what you need to open to get the Ardkillin Whiskey.
Get outside the bedroom and headtowards the display roomwhich is downstairs. A named zombie,Colt’s Gal Cindy,will appear and once you defeat it, you will get Cindy’s safe key. With Cindy’s safe key with you,head back to the bedroom, open the safe,grab the whiskey,and proceed towards your next objective, or back to Curtis, if you have already finished the GOAT pen part.

Hunt For The Maison Sang-Vivant Wine
Your next destination is theGOAT Pen, which you must have visited before if you have reached this point in the game, but if you still need a refresher, it is located rightnear Alpine Drivein thesouthernmost partof the map. You need to head to the wine room here, but there is a catch. Once again, there are two ways to reach the area. The first one is pretty easy and simple,smash the walls of the wine roomand get in. This howevertriggers an alarm, and you will need to battle a swarm of zombiesbefore you can make it to the next part.
Thankfully, there is a less violent way, by finding theGOAT Pen master keys, although there is still some breaking involved. Right outside the mansion near the pool, you will see abedroomwhich you can head to bybreaking the glass window. Once you are inside, you will find thekeys on the table, and thenhead back downstairs to the Wine Room. You will find theMaison Sang-Vivant on the middle shelf, but there is another task you need to complete before heading out.
Once you have the wine, Curtis will ask you to fetch someCuban cigarson the way as well, and for that, you need to head back to the bedroom. This time, a zombie will pop out so be wary of that. After taking it out, you will find thecigar inside the closet. With all these items in your inventory, head to Curtis to hand them over to him and complete the mission to get3,000 XP as a reward, along with the Peggy Rifle.
