InCyberpunk 2077, Night City is a host to multitudes of captivating, engaging characters. CDPR have done their best to give voice to as many characters as possible to bring the world to life.

Exploring Night City is one of, if not the best, reasons to invest yourself in Cyberpunk. It’s a living, breathing world out there, and while it doesn’t react to your presence as well as it maybe could, its characters are so incredibly fleshed out and voiced it’d be a crime not to hear what they have to say.
10River Ward - Robbie Daymond
A former detective and Night City officer, River Ward serves as one of the main romance options for V in Cyberpunk 2077. As honest as it gets in the world of Cyberpunk, River Ward is a surprisingly straight-laced character in the dark and twisted world of Cyberpunk, acting as a counterpoint to the bleakness that seeps through every inch of the city.
The voice of River, Robbie Daymond, is a well-known voice actor with quite an impressive portfolio under his belt. He has voice acted in multiple hit TV series and games likeHi-Fi Rush, Ultraman,RWBY,Bleach: TYBW,Horizon Forbidden West, as well as tons more. He’s also appeared inCritical Roleas Dorian Storm.

9Goro Takemura - Rome Kanda
In one of the first main missions you’ll be involved in, Goro Takemura will appear as the bodyguard of a large Syndicate boss, the head of Arasaka himself. After a series of plot twists that we won’t spoil here, he’ll end up as one of the most-wanted criminals in all of Night City, hell-bent on revenge.
Rome Kanda plays Goro in Cyberpunk 2077 to great effect. His gruff, grating voice is perfect for the disgraced Samurai role. Rome Kanda is a comedian/actor of some notoriety. He has made multiple appearances as a late-night show guest on Conan and SNL. He also does stand-up at comedy clubs from time to time.

8Kerry Eurodyne - Matthew Yang King
Kerry Eurodyne is a returning character from Cyberpunk 2013 and 2020. He’s a musician and guitarist for the Samurai, a band in Night City. If you’re playing a male V, he’ll be interested in pursuing a romantic relationship with you, provided some other conditions are met.

Matthew Yang King has been around the block, so to speak. He’s been involved in numerous projects ranging from video games, television to animation. From voice-over inLove, Death & Robotsto acting as Marty Mantle in Riverdale, he is a multi-talented actor/voice-over artist with a proven track record.
7Jackie Welles - Jason Hightower
Your first introduction to Night City is going to be via Jackie Welles, a well-meaning mercenary who will accompany you on your first few jobs as a backup and helping hand and serve as your first real companion in the city.
Jackie is voiced by Jason Hightower, who has lent his voice to quite a few Western animations as a voice actor. He’s been a voice actor in Ralph Breaks the Internet, Clash-A-Rama!, Kid Cosmic, and Victor & Valentino.

6Judy Alvarez - Carla Tassara
One of the main romantic interests for V in Cyberpunk 2077, Judy Alvarez, is core to the story, regardless if you’re interested in her romantically or not. She is a braindancer and a member of one of the resident gangs in Night City.
Carla Tassara, the voice of Judy, is a true veteran in the voice-over industry. She’s had various minor roles in tons of popular AAA games.Red Dead Redemption 2,Fallout 4,God of War: Ragnarok, Horizon Forbidden West, andStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Orderto name a few.

5Panam Palmer - Emily Woo Zeller
One of the main side characters and love interests in Cyberpunk 2077, Panam Palmer, is an ex-nomad who has taken a liking to V, the player character. Together, they’ll take on the challenges of Night City and come out on top.
Emily Woo Zeller is perhaps not as prolific a voice actor as some others on this list, but she has had some breakout roles over the years. Most notably, she voiced in the hit animeFate/Stay Night as Saber, one of the main protagonists of the series. She has also had small roles inPokemonand The Last of Part II.

4Johnny Silverhand - Keanu Reeves
Keanu Reeves plays Johnny Silverhand, one of the major plot-driving characters in Cyberpunk 2077, who is residing inside V’s head as he ventures through Night City. An enigmatic character players will need to uncover the secrets of, Johnny is going to be involved in your journey, one way or the other.

CDPR has made no secret of Keanu Reeves' involvement in the project and his central role in the game’s story. Keanu requires little introduction as he has been an active movie star since the 1980s. You may know him as the lead actor from blockbusters like Speed, The Matrix, and, most recently,John Wick.
3Solomon Reed - Idris Elba
With thePhantom Liberty DLCaround the corner,Idris Elba’s roleas one of the key characters that you’ll encounter in the expansion has been all but cemented. Who Solomon Reed is and what his intentions are is yet to be discovered, but if Johnny Silverhand is any indication, it’s sure to be a doozy.
Idris Elba is an A-list actor in both Film and Television. From The Wire to The Office to Luther, Idris has been around for quite some time and to stunning success. You may also recognize him as Heimdall from the MCU.
2V (Male Player) - Gavin Drea
There are two fully voiced versions of the main protagonist of Cyberpunk 2077, V. One male, the other female. You will be able to choose between the two right at the start during the character creation phase.
Gavin Drea has been involved in a number of games and TV series over the years. He was the voice of Flann Sinna in the Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla video game and played Eadric Streona in the Vikings: Valhalla TV series.
1V (Female Player) - Cherami Leigh
On the other side of the coin is Cherami Leigh, providing the English Voice for the female version of V. Like the male version, you will have to select this voice at the start of the game at character creation.
Cherami Leigh is a well-known name in the voice acting industry, mostly involved in providing English Voice-Over for Japanese anime like Kidou Senshi Gundam: Tekketsu no Orphans andMy Hero Academia. Most recently, she lent her voice toThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomas Sonia, the first queen of Hyrule.
