Actor Cole Brings Plenty, best known for his role as played Pete Plenty Clouds in theYellowstonespin-off1923, has passed away at the young age of 27 in Kansas.
What’s even more tragic is the circumstance surrounding his death — fleeing suspicion of domestic abuse. The budding actor was enrolled at Haskell Indian Nations University in 1923, balancing his education with his acting aspirations.
After he went missing, the big search was launched. It turned out he was suspected of domestic violence right before he vanished.

Cole Brings Plenty was last seen driving his white Ford Explorer out of Lawrence, Kansas, on March 31st. A statement released on Tuesday by the Lawrence Police Department revealed that he was allegedly involved in a domestic violence dispute on Sunday at an apartment in Lawrence. The statement reads (viaVariety):
““Officers responded to reports of a female screaming for help, but the suspect fled before officers arrived. The investigation identified Brings Plenty and traffic cameras showed him leaving the city immediately after the incident, traveling southbound on 59 Highway. We’ve identified him as the suspect, have probable cause for his arrest, and issued an alert to area agencies.”
According to his agent, Peter Yanke of Phirgun Mair Worldwide, Brings Plenty even missed an audition for an upcoming film project that was scheduled for Monday morning over Zoom.

The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office stated in a news release on Friday (onX) that deputies had responded to an unoccupied vehicle in the vicinity of 200th and Homestead Lane.
According to authorities, upon investigating the area, they“discovered a deceased male in a wooded area away from the vehicle.The deceased male has been identified as Cole Brings Plenty, 27.”The circumstances surrounding his death are still under investigation.

During the search for Cole Brings Plenty,Yellowstoneactor,Cole Hauser, and his uncle Mo Brings Plenty posted several appeals on Instagram.
“My good friend @mobringsplenty nephew is missing, “Hauser wrote onInstagramApril 2.“He was last seen on Easter evening in Kansas City.”Amid the search, his uncle spoke out to clarify the circumstances surrounding his nephew’s case onInstagram:
“It has been suggested that Cole is on the run, but there is no evidence to support this claim, and we urge everyone to refrain from making unfounded speculations.”
