A new season is now live inClash Royalewith a brand-new event that delivers a much-improved version of Hog Rider into the battlefield. This new super unit, Terry, works in the same way as a Hog Rider with a bigger health bar, higher speed, and heavier damage.

That being said, there is one more thing that makes it stand out from a regular Hog Rider. Similar to Legendary cards, Terry has an ability button that costs 1 Elixir, and when you press it, he performs a jump similar to that of Mega Knight and deals extra damage to anything around it, be it structures or troops. This simply means you cannot surround Terry with Skeleton Army as he can easily kill them all. However, this jump doesn’t affect the airborne units.
As a result, we suggest you either spam Terry’s path with structures or bring enough airborne units to get rid of him before damaging your crown towers. You can also use some creative units like Zappies or Electro Wizard to slow down Terry.
With the first deck, we strongly suggest you save Mega Knight for the final minute of the match when Elixir production doubles. If you manage to deploy Mega Knight and Terry together, they will be a force to reckon with for your opponent. However, deploying Terry or Mega Knight after Lumberjack is also a great way to benefit from a potential Rage spell.
In the second deck, your priority is to set up Elixir Collector as soon as you can. Mini Pekka is a great unit to get rid of Terry. He can kill the improved Hog Rider with three hits.
When attacking the enemy’s base, verify to use your Freeze spell to temporarily disable any structures in the enemy’s field, so your Terry gets enough time to destroy them without getting too much damage.
The Super Champion Battle Event will be available until May 8. The event is expected to turn into a challenge later this week to offer more Season Tokens.
