Should You Fight Visages or Sirène First in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33?
When it comes to difficulty,it’s recommended to fight Sirène firstinClair Obscur: Expedition 33since she’s much easier to defeat. Her attacks are easier to read, so you won’t have much trouble dodging or parrying.
Additionally, there is a trick tomake the Sirène boss fight significantly easier. Considering she constantly casts Charm on the party, players can counter this with theAnti-CharmPicto. Anti-Charm can be acquired by defeating the optional Tisseur boss in Sirène’s area.

However, who you choose to fight firstcan also depend on your character’s current builds. For example, Sirène is weak to Ice and Dark andVisages is weak to Fire and Dark.
In this case, if your primary party uses a good number of Ice attacks, then your best bet is to fight Sirène first to get stronger for Visages. On the other hand, if you’rerunning Fire builds, then fight Visages first to get stronger for Sirène.
Personally, I fought Visages first and ended up dying a handful of times. Then, I fought Sirène and had no trouble whatsoever, beating her on my first try. In hindsight, it’s clear that fighting Sirène first is the best choice overall, and I wish I had gone that route to save myself from the frustration.

As you’re able to see, Visages has valuable rewards on offer here. The biggest standout isthe Immaculate Picto, which allows players to deal 30% more damage until they take damage from the enemy.

While all these rewards are valuable, the biggest earnings here are the Tisseron and Energising Picto. Tisseron isa strong weapon for Scielwith a Lightning element attached, and Energising Turn provides 1 AP on each turn start.
When comparing Visages and Sirène’s rewards, they’re pretty close in value. However, Visage’s rewards are a bit better.
While Sirène offers a powerful weapon for Sciel and a great Picto for gathering AP, she doesn’t offer as much XP and weapon upgrade materials as Visages.
