In today’sXbox Developer Direct, Kepler Interactive announced the game’s release date and it’s April 25 for consoles and PC.

Sandfall Interactive revealed the brand-new characters players will encounter in the game and the voice actor behind each character.
Also revealed during the trailer for the turn-based RPG is the world map, which allows players to explore the game’s locations and secrets on their quest to destroy the Paintress.
Who is the Paintress? According to Sandfall, “Once a year, the Paintress wakes and paints upon her monolith. Paints her cursed number. And everyone of that age turns to smoke and fades away. Year by year, that number ticks down and more of us are erased. Tomorrow she’ll wake and paint “33.” And tomorrow we depart on our final mission - Destroy the Paintress, so she can never paint death again.”
Clair Obscura: Expedition 33 is a turn-based RPG with real-time mechanics, which should make battles more immersive. Belle Epoque France inspires the game’s fantasy world and features larger-than-life bosses (as seen in the trailer).
