What Happened Previously On Bungo Stray Dogs?
Atsushi’s escape via a covert submarine was made possible by Akutagawa’s final deed, which broke open a smokescreen escape route. The sleeping Undead King, Bram, was awakened by Fukuchi using Akutagawa’s blood, causing chaos among the Port Mafia. Higuchi was quickly cursed, which set off a dangerous cascade of changes. The only chance to stop the tragedy from spreading was the urgent effort to destroy the Gifted.
Fukuchi stopped Tachihara’s acts after first evading the source of the curse. Tachihara suggested risking the truth being revealed by giving Yasui access to a crucial pen drive. Tachihara confirmed his arrival notification to Yasui, foiling Fukuchi’s attempts to deceive. Fukuchi, who was imprisoned, ordered Bram to curse Yasui, but Tachihara’s unanticipated appearance, brought on by the boss’s suspicions, thwarted the scheme. Tachihara and Amenogozen clashed, and Tachihara ultimately defeated Amenogozen.
Tachihara pushed Fukuchi into hiding behind a pillar. A minor error cost him his life when he was ambushed from behind. Tachihara emerged and revealed his plan: he used Amenogozen to warn his former self of danger. Taking advantage of the situation, he killed Tachihara, enabling Fukuchi to cast Bram’s curse and secure his control over the Agency and the country.
