Narutowas one of the most distinguished anime ever, attaining phenomenal triumph and amassing a fanbase beyond one’s fantasy. When Naruto concluded, fanatics were loaded with assorted sentiments as they were not ready to say adieu to the characters they matured with. Luckily, Boruto, a sequel, was disclosed so that the story would focus on the offspring of the characters we know.

However,Borutofailed to receive support from the audience due to the story, animation, forced decisions, and sidelining of characters. The series’ popularity has plunged steeply in the last few years, and the impairment has been done. Still, it can be inverted if Masashi Kishimoto re-introduces Naruto into the franchise and writes him better.
Only Naruto’s re-introduction to the story can save Boruto
Constructing a sequel to a very prosperous franchise has always been formidable. Only a few series have tended to do it and go beyond their predecessor’s success, with one specimen beingDragon Ball Z.
Unfortunately,Borutofalls into the eschelon of unsuccessful sequels and has impaired the heritage of theNarutofranchise, built with blood and sweat and over a decade of work.

Borutowas a project set to fail from the get-go, and it was transparent that the organization wanted to milk the success ofNarutobut failed terribly. Boruto is quite bright and extraordinarily pleasing; however, how he is authored makes him look like a bad character, which he isn’t.
The series persists in falling apart and is amassing negative reviews, with many fans not inquisitive about the story. However, this could all alter with the re-introduction of a fan-favorite character, none other than Naruto Uzumaki.

Naruto’s retrieval to the story would see the fanciers who have vacated Boruto’s journey re-join. On the other hand, Naruto can operate as the building block of Boruto’s journey and even train him, increasing Boruto’s likeability and strengthening himself for the fans watching the show.
As things stand, if the author Masashi Kishimoto re-introduces Naruto to the story and writes him better as compared to how he was written inBorutopreviously, the series could be rejuvenated and achieve its true potential.

What makesBorutoso bad?
Borutofailed to live up to most fans’ expectations and even turned into a meme show that had nothing to be compared to the Naruto franchise.
There are several causes for the show getting trashed online and clowned on, some of the most prominent being the forceful sidelining of characters.

Although fans knew that Naruto and other old characters wouldn’t get much time in the sequel, the author forced them to be omitted from the story instead of sidelining them naturally. One example can be seen during Naruto and Sasuke vs. Jigen, where neither of the characters uses any effective weapons from the arsenal.
It was becoming evident that the author was doing everything he could to force the older characters aside and let the new ones take the spotlight, which upset many fans. The audience watchingBorutowas also there to see old characters, but they were treated very poorly.
Boruto’s journey as a character has also been unrelatable since he lives a dream life, and fans cannot resonate with him. These are only a handful of reasons for Boruto’s poor performance.
