Bloodbornefans have reignited the copium after a new report suggests that something will happen on June 10, 2025. The game’s servers undergo maintenance on that day, and while that’s nothing new, it coincides with PlayStation’s 30th anniversary and a rumored showcase teased in a recent teaser.

While nothing is confirmed, the coincidental timing has gotten the rumor mill going again. This likely means nothing but aBloodborneRemake/Remaster has been the most requested thing in recent PlayStation history so fans will hope regardless.
Here’s a Fresh Batch of Hope ForBloodborneFans
Bloodborne, a gothic action RPG released in 2015 by FromSoftware, remains one of PlayStation’s most celebrated exclusives. But despite its status as a cult classic, fans have wanted an update for the longest time, particularly a 60fps upgrade or a remaster for the PS5.

Over the years, every hint, no matter how minor, has reignited those hopes. This makes the December 3 server maintenance a lightning rod for speculation about a potential announcement. While the update could simply be routine, fans definitely want more.

The rumors are also fueled by other industry events. FromSoftware’s parent company, Kadokawa Corporation, isreportedly in acquisition talks with Sony.
Could this be a stepping stone to fans finally getting the remake/remaster? Fans have known by now to temper expectations but it just shows how much the game means to the community.

Bloodborne doesn’t need a Remake or Remaster, just 60fps.
Not all fans are hoping for a complete remake/remaster though. A lot of fans believe that even a simple 60fps patch or PS5 upgrade would be enough just so the game runs better on newer hardware.

Will Sony and FromSoft Finally Do It?
There’s also the argument that Sony and FromSoftware could use this opportunity to introduce the IP to a new generation with a full remake or even a sequel. The lack of updates for nearly a decade hasonly made fans want it more, be it a minor upgrade or a big new project.
I would be even happier with a sequel but it’s been almost 10 years and i feel like if the ip is coming back, they would want to capitalize on getting new and old players to play a remaster first. But hey, u never know!

stop the cap. Why would servers need to go down to coincide with a remake announcement? are they gonna render the preorder page within the 10 year old client like call of duty💀?
Some comments online pointed out that server maintenance for FromSoftware titles isn’t uncommon and often doesn’t correlate with major announcements. In fact,Bloodborne’s servers have undergone similar updates in the past without anything new.

Adding to the speculation is the timing of The Game Awards which will happen on 12 December. Sony and FromSoft usually announce their games at big events like Summer Game Fest and The Game Awards and this could be one of those times.
A potentialBloodborneannouncement would fit seamlessly into a PlayStation-centric celebration. It would satisfy both the old and new fans and cement the title’s place even more firmly in gaming history.
