Nearly four years have passed sinceBatman: Arkham Knight, the last major console release from Rocksteady Studios. As such, fans of theBatman: Arkhamtrilogy are eagerly awaiting whatever the British Studio is doing next and want them to announce it soon. Unfortunately, just as he did withThe Game Awards,Rocksteady Studios Co-Founder and Game Director Sefton Hill has confirmed that the Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment subsidiary’s upcoming unannounced game will not be at E3 2019.

As of now, the next title from Rocksteady Studios is still shrouded in mystery. There have been a lot of rumors of the game possibly focusing on the Justice League or being a “games as a service” title, but most of these claims don’t have much weight as of yet. Hopefully, Rocksteady Studios will spill the beans on what is coming next from them soon as their announcements on skipping events arestarting to get repetitive.Â

Despite that, there is some weird sense of consolation in knowing that a title will not be appearing at E3 among the flurry of announcementshappening over the next week.Rocksteady Studios is not the only major developer to skip E3 either. Obviously, the announcement ofSony’s absenceshocked many last year; lately, we have also learned thatSkull & Bones,Beyond Good and Evil 2, and 2019’sNeed for Speedgame will not be in the news cycle over the next weekend as well.

As a gigantic fan of all theArkhamgames, I am eagerly awaiting whatever Rocksteady Studios has in store for us. As such, you’re able to be sure that DualShockers will let you know as soon as their new game is revealed. Currently, no major games from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have been announced yet despite the fact that the publisherhas a large boothat the show so we can hopefully expect the publisher to announce something in the coming days.
