“Because you see, they were entitled to. That’s pretty much what I understand is the argument.”
Further adding, she said thatGreta Gerwigdid get nominated for Best Screenplay alongside Noah Baumbach (who is also her husband), but the upset is about her missing out on the directorial category.

“You are a misogynist, unless you’d actually make Margot Robbie the nominee for Best Actress and recognize Greta in her directing role. And that’s just how life works.”
Talking about how people are pointing at “patriarchy” as the reason Barbie missed out on these majn categories, she mocked the fans asking why this did not apply to America Ferrera, who was nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for the movie.

Moriarty said she received“a message about a disgustingly false, counterproductive to the degree of being ironically misogynistic video of Megyn Kelly”and was completely “horrified.” She also said she had expected negative criticism after coming back to the limelight, but the “verbal abuse” and “accusations” had gotten to her badly. Posting on herInstagramhandle, the actress wrote,
“I’m horrified by the reaction, the reductive assumptions, and the aforementioned video that is a primary example of such harassment. It’s broken my heart. You’ve broken my heart. You’ve lost the privilege of this account.”
After the incident, the actress decided not to use her Instagram account anymore, but would not be deactivating so that her post responding to Megyn Kelly remains online.
