How To Reach The Overgrown Tunnel

The Overgrown Tunnel is a dungeon located in the Sunlit Wetlands, the area of Auntie Ethel’s home in theUnderdark. It can be accessed via what is known as the Riverside Teahouse. This area is divided into three different areas, each of which will be explained in depth.

Once you enter into the Overgrown Tunnel, you will be in the Entrance Gallery. In this room, you will find an Elf who is screaming about needing to leave and not to look. Upon further inspection, you find out that the thing it is warning you about is something called “Gnarled Door” with a face on it at the end of the room. This door is the victim of the Hag, and if you intimidate it, it will let you through. If you fail that intimidation, look to the right of the wooden door, you will find a Whispering Mask. Put this mask on and quickly go through the wooden door. Then you can take the mask off.

You will want to ensure you remove the Whispering Mask. If you do not, you can potentially attack your party members or vice versa.
