Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora - How To Find & Use Spare Parts
Spare Parts are one of the many currencies in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Here’s how you can find and use them.
Pandora is an open-world player who can explore, complete side quests, hunt wildlife, or see the many beautiful locations throughout the planet. Between the RDA trying to tame the world and the hostile wildlife, Pandora can be a dangerous place; here are some tricks to staying alive.

10Utilizing Na’vi Sense
Find Items And Enemies Through Walls
No matter which navigation mode players choose, utilizing Na’vi senses is key to finding important items or quest locations. Your Na’vi sense will mark NPCs, enemies, and wildlife, highlighting them to let you see their locations through walls while having them stay highlighted for a short time after going back to regular vision.
Highlighting enemies in battle or when stealthing around a base gives a massive upper hand that should always be taken advantage of to line up shots from powerful weapons to know when to sneak past. Finding and looting RDA chests is also an easy way to find better gear to use, with these chests also being highlighted by Na’vi sense, making looting much more efficient.

9Complete Mining Camps
Find Better Gear & Spawn New Wildlife
Mining camps are scattered around Pandora and offer difficult encounters for players to try and complete. While these camps may just seem like a basic activity to complete, they do offer larger bonuses than just the items found while looting the chests within the camp.
Destroying Mining towers will heal the land around the tower, letting players harvest materials from this area and having more wildlife appear that can then be hunted. Some species of both planets and animals only begin to appear after nearby camps have been taken care of, making some recipes and crafting upgrades be locked behind completing camps.

8Use The Forest
Environmental Hazards & Benefits To Turn The Tide
The forest of Pandora is alive in more ways than just the wildlife and Na’vi that live there. Many planets can be found throughout the forest that have different effects, from blowing up and giving speed bonuses to slinging those who touch them a short distance.
All of these planets have different uses in and out of combat. Running past particular planets while exploring can speed the player up, while explosive plants can have enemies lured nearby to take additional damage. Learning all the plants of the forest and using them to your advantage will give players an edge in combat, which is desperately needed as every fight will have players greatly outnumbered.

7Cooking & Eating Right
Restore Energy & Get Buffs
Players will quickly burn through energy as they explore the world and complete combat encounters. While food is mainly used for regenerating lost energy, many foods offer bonus effects that can take place for a few minutes after eating.
These bonuses can be very useful for increasing damage or reducing incoming damage, making difficult combat encounters much easier. Thecooking processin the game is fairly simple, and players can easily stock up on large supplies of useful foods. Keeping your food inventory well stocked is an easy way to always be ready for the next RDA encounter.

6Find The Right Weapon
Each Weapon Is Useful Against The Right Enemy
Players are given multiple weapons to choose from, both from the Na’vi and humans. While human weapons break the harmony of the forest, they are very effective against the AMP suits often found scouring Pandora. Every weapon can be modified and upgraded to deal more damage, with each weapon also being more effective in certain situations.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora - How To Increase Health
Health can drop fast in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora! Grabbing some Bellsprigs to increase your health can help.
When trying to hunt, Na’vi weapons are necessary to not spoil the kill while also maintaining the harmony of the forest. Killing too many animals with human weapons will lead to the Disharmony debuff and won’t make the results from hunting usable. While only three weapons can be equipped at a time, those three weapons can be cycled at any time through the main menu.
5Take Combat Slowly
Watch Your Enemies & Make A Plan
While Na’vi are bigger, stronger, and faster than humans, players will still always be at a disadvantage in combat. The AMP suits go well above equalling things out, and even with the right weapons, players will almost always be at a disadvantage in combat.
Stealth is one of the best tools a player can use when approaching a large group of RDA. Head-on firefights are incredibly difficult, even with various upgrades to make them more possible. Regular soldiers can be killed with only a single arrow of the basic bow, making it an excellent and quiet tool to thin out enemy numbers before any direct confrontation.
4Maximize Your Combat Strength
Upgrade Your Gear To Maximize Combat Strength
Combat Strength is effectively your character’s level, giving a general score based on your weapons’s strength, active skills, and equipment stats. All of these things will need to be upgraded together, each playing an equal part in your character’s ability to take on tougher enemies.
Better gear pieces can be found and equipped and further modified to increase the effects further. While skill upgrades are permanent, gear pieces and mods can be switched in and out as often as players would like to maximize their Combat Strength.
3Find Ancestor Skills Early
Powerful & Free Skills To Be Found
Ancestor skills are not a part of the usual skill tree and instead are earned by finding Tarsyu flowers. By finding and interacting with a Tarsyu flower, the new skill associated with that flower will immediately be unlocked, with these skills being much more powerful than those in the other skill trees.
The Eject skill allows players to defeat AMP suits with a single stun grenade and a melee attack and can be found very early into the game. Unlocking these skills is only limited by player exploration, with many of these skills able to be found incredibly early and strengthen your Na’vi with some useful perks to change up combat and exploration right away.
2Hunt While Respecting The Forest
Avoid The Disharmony Debuff By Using Na’vi Weapons
Hunting is a key part of getting food for cooking and other materials for crafting mods for gear and weapons. Unlike other games, Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora makes players respect the forest while hunting, as there is a judgment based on how players kill an animal. Hunting only with Na’vi weapons is key to respecting the forest and preserving the materials earned from a creature.
Getting aclean and merciful killwill not only preserve the obtainable materials but also give a higher chance of those materials being of a higher rarity. Killing too many animals in a short period of time or constantly using human weapons can also lead to the Disharmony debuff, making it more difficult for the players to progress for a short time.
1Get Your Ikran Quickly
Explore Pandora From The Skies & Get Where You’re Going Fast
The mission Take Flight will have players tame and bond with their Ikran. This mission is found fairly early in the game, and players should prioritize the main story for the first few hours until this mission is completed.
Pandora can be a vast world, and traveling on foot can take a very long time. Your Ikran will make traveling not only much faster but also much more entertaining. Players can also fight from the back of the Ikran, giving playersyet another toolto use in the fight against the RDA.
