Eren created a new and deadlier version of the Beast by using the same ability of the War Hammer Titan on the Beast Titan – the white color results from this unique fusion between the two Titans.
While most key players in the series possess the power of a single Titan, Eren possesses the ability of three Titans: the Attack Titan and the Founding Titan, which he possessed from his father, and the War Hammer Titan, which he gained after killing and consuming Lara Tybur. On top of that, with the ability to use the Founding Titan with the help of Zeke, Eren also gained the ability to control all the other Titans. Having the immense power of the Titans at his disposal, Eren had the ability to modify and alter the Titans as he saw fit, and that’s what he did with the Beast Titan using the abilities of the War Hammer Titan.

Why Did Eren Use War Hammer Titan’s Abilities On The Beast Titan?
Now, an even bigger question arises, “Why?” Why would Eren do such a thing? What’s the point in using the War Hammer Titan’s abilities on the Beast Titan? Well, the simple answer isto keep the Beast Titan connected to the Founding Titan.The real power of the Founding Titan, which is to control all the other Titans, can only be accessed if a Royal Blood is using it. But in the case of Eren, he possesses the Founding Titan but lacks the Royal Blood. However, Zeke has the Royal Blood,so the only way to activate the Rumbling Process is by connecting Zeke to the Founding Titan.
To keep this connection intact, Eren used the War Hammer Titan’s hardening abilities.This process not only made sure that Eren could continue Rumbling but also made the Beast Titan even more powerful. With Beast’s connection to the War Titan, he could create deadly weapons with Titan’s hardened flesh and throw them at full speed at his opponents.
