Astro Bothasblown everyone’s socks off with its amazing visuals, tight platforming, and sublime selection of interesting levels to explore.
However, when you manage to pick your jaw up off the floor, you then need to focus on the task at hand. Finding all the collectibles in each stage, which is no mean feat.
Astro Bot: Tentacle System All Bot Locations
Here’s a handy guide to find all the bots in this tentacular galaxy
They are hidden pretty well throughout each level, and even the more perceptive Astro players will likely miss a few. So, to help you avoid replaying levels multiple times, we have a quick list of all the puzzle pieces you need tocheck off the Tentacle System.
Go Go Archipelago
Puzzle Piece
Puzzle Piece 1
When gliding into the level, watch for a bird carrying a puzzle piece that will fly from right to left. Use thrusters to make sure you catch them.
Puzzle Piece 2
To the right of the Clam with rocks that you can throw to break the three stone blocks, turn to your right, and break a wall nearby. Then, use your Monkey Hands to climb up and collect the puzzle piece.
Puzzle Piece 3
Toward the end of the level, just before the side-scrolling bridge climb, you’ll see a boulder on a platform to your left. Head over and throw it at the cliffside to reveal a secret nook containing the last puzzle piece of this level.
Trunk of Funk
When gliding into the level, lean to the left and wait for a cave behind a waterfall. Then, fly through to collect the puzzle piece before landing.
In the area with the Papa Tree, you’ll find a little gopher holding a golf ball, and a hole just ahead. Punch the ball into the hole and a puzzle piece will appear over the hole.
When you get to the area after the honey room where a large flower will rise from the ground, first kill that flower and its minions. Then use your elephant power-up to suck up the honey in the pool where they were. Directly below, you’ll find the last puzzle piece of the level.
Downsize Surprise
Pull out the loose wires on the tree stump, where you will also find the photo opportunity card. Then shrink down and head inside, where you will find your first puzzle piece.
After the laundry line tightrope, you’ll enter a bedroom. Shrink down and platform up the wall to the right of the bed. At the end of this platforming sequence, you’ll find an AC unit with the puzzle piece inside.
When you reach the clock face platforming section, use the seconds hand to get a little higher, and this should allow you to reach the puzzle piece floating above.
Wormy Passage
At the beginning of the level, once you have your frog gloves, look around on your right for a cave with a large cactus enemy. Repeatedly punch them to reveal a hidden puzzle piece.
In the same area where you find a bot guarded by a worm enemy, use your frog gloves to fill the nearby pool with water. Then, swim down below to get the puzzle piece in the water safely.
When you are swallowed by a monster late in the level, begin climbing up their digestive system. As the stomach acid rises, be on the lookout for a puzzle piece that will present itself during this sequence.
Bot of War
Below the large spike robot, you will find a golden chest. Open this to reveal the first puzzle piece of this stage.
Break through a series of breakable blue walls to reveal an area with Odin’s Ravens on the cliff face. You’ll find a tree with loads of feathers on it in the same area. Look behind this tree and you’ll see a puzzle piece.
On the platform with the large hammer and the last of Odin’s Ravens, drop down and use a spin move to reveal a hidden compartment below. Then, use your axe to freeze the mechanism and safely grab the last puzzle piece of this God of War-themed world.
