A Gift For You Enigma is one of these treasure maps located in the Residential District of the Round City. Players will need to solve the riddle in the Enigma to find the treasure in one of the historical sites ofBaghdad.
How To Find ‘A Gift For You’ Enigma
From theResidential District viewpointinside the Round City, headnorthwestuntil you’re near the border of the administrative district. This area is directly facing the Palace of the Green Dome.Use Enkiduto find the Enigma, as shown in the picture.
The Enigma is hidden inside a house with the only entrancebarred from the outside. To unbar the entrance, find thenorthern windowof the house andpeek insidethe house. ActivateEagle Vision, and you’ll be able to see thered glow showing the blockadeof the window on the other side.
Use yourthrowing knifeto destroy it. Circle around the house and enter the room using the window. A Gift For You Enigma is on the table to the right.
How To Solve ‘A Gift For You’ Enigma
Open your inventory and select ‘A Gift For You’ Enigma to see the puzzle. It is a riddle with clues pointing towards a treasure.The first clue is “Go to where men speak the opposite of Poetry.” This is a reference to an area on the map called theMazilim Courts. Mazilim Courts were locations where people went to appeal to the authorities and ask them to resolve their problems. The opposite of Poetry.
The second clue is, “While your verses set people free, their sentences imprison.” A play on the word ‘sentences’ as it refers to the Mazilim Courts’ ability to sentence people to jail instead of regular sentences.
The last clue “In the west of the square, find the fountain to find my tribute to you…” is just an indication to the player to look at thefountains in the Courtsand find the treasure there.
To find the Mazilim Courts, fast travel to theAdministrative District Viewpoint.Look east, and you’ll see a very large structure with multiple blue domes surrounded by a stone wall.This is the Mazilim Courts, one of the key historic sites in Baghdad.
The fountain referred to in the Enigma is themain fountain you see as soon as you pass the entrance(pictured below).
Inside the fountain, you will see a white glow emerging from the ground. Interact with it to complete ‘A Gift for You’ Enigma. You’ll be rewarded with theBedouin Talismanfor solving this Enigma.
