During a 2014 interview with theDigital Spywhen the show was in development, Berlanti admitted that no matter what happens, he hoped to keep Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen in this universe.

Fingers crossed we don’t screw it up and he gets his own show. If he didn’t, I don’t think we would ever want to let Grant go. He’s too valuable. That would be our hope, I think – no matter what, to keep Barry part of the universe.

It cannot be denied that the Arrowverse will not return as DCU will have several animated and live-action shows which will be aired on Max. Nevertheless, both Grant Gustin and Stephen Amell have expressed their interest in joining the DCU if approached by Gunn.

On the other hand, Stephen Amell also revealed at Mega Con Orlando (viaCBR) that he would love to reprise his role as Oliver Queen aka Green Arrow-“Yeah, I’d do it.”
Both the actors did a fabulous job with Arrowverse and given their fandom, it can be a possibility for Gunn to introduce them in the DCU as well. But it should also be noted that this might confuse the general fans.
