How To Join & Start Multiplayer Games
Once you’ve completed Ocean Crossing, you’ll get a message talking about the Nest. The Nest is where you’ll get to play in multiplayer games.
To join multiplayer, first select the Nest, then select “Custom Match.“You’ll have the option to either create a room or join a room in progress.

When you create a room, you’re able to edit the capacity, map, game format, rotation, and keywords you can add for people to find your game. After that, press “create,” and then wait for people to join your lobby. If you’ve made your lobby private, you can send invites to select players. While you’re in your own lobby, you can change the rules, but you’ll be limited to editing the game’s time limit, map, and member rotation. If you wanted to change the game format, capacity, or add keywords, you’ll have to remake the lobby.
In comparison, when you search for a room, you’ll be brought to a browser that displays all the available lobbies created by other players. Click on a lobby with an empty slot and select “join” to join the lobby.Once you’ve joined, you can edit your AC, then hit “ready” when you’re good to go.Once all the players have readied up, the game will start.
Game Types: 1v1 & 3v3
There are currently two game types you can play in:1v1 and 3v3.
As the name suggests, 1v1 games are played with just you and a single opponent. There are no respawns, and it’s a first to two wins format. Draws counting as a win for both sides.
3v3 pits two teams of three players against each other. Each team will score points by eliminating the opposing team’s ACs under a set time limit.Once that time limit expires, the team with the highest score wins.Players will be worth more points based on how long they’ve been alive. The player with the most kills will become a priority target and will be worth bonus points when they’re killed.
