As with every new Legend, Vantage has rapidly become one of the most picked heroes in the entire game.

So this raises the question: is Vantage deserving of all the hype? This guide aims to answer that question, and in the process rankevery available characterin the game. In an attempt to keep the ranking as fair as possible, every Legend will be ranked based on their intended purpose of either offense, defense, support, or recon. Keep in mind that this is also assuming the player is of around an average skill level.
Seer might just be the best legend currently in the game. His loadout consists of what are basicallywall hacks, and he can be used effectively by players of any skill-level.

Although, what currently makes him the most overpowered might just be his passive. The ability to detect exactly where enemies are while they have no clue of your existence is incalculably valuable.
Let’s be real, Octane mains get abad rapfor being obnoxious loot thieves, but Octane is currently one of the most viable Legends in Apex. Octane’s loadout is extremely viable for both aggressive and passive players, with insane team support. Plus, the benefit of having passive health regeneration can not be emphasized enough.

Another Legend with aninsanecapacity for utility in every scenario is Horizon. Her tactical can be used for pushes, escapes, and even blocking of doorways! On top of all that, her ultimate is basically a free kill if you’ve got a couple arc-stars handy.
Even after her season 14 nerf, Valkyrie remains a force to be reckoned with. Funnily enough, the recent increase in storm damage has made her evenmoreuseful, as her ultimate often becomes a saving grace from the storm. For those who love movement-based legends, Valkyrie might just be the most efficient one in the game.
The newest Legend in the Apex games, Vantage, is a welcomed addition. She is perhaps in themost balancedstate that any new character has ever launched in! Her sniper ultimate makes hitting your mark extremely easy, and for those who can hit those pesky follow-ups, Vantage is going to allow for some of the fastest kill times in the game.
Pathfinder
A fan-favorite since day one, Pathfinderexcelsin movement. A player who has really figured out the mechanics of Pathfinder will discover that he is viable inallscenarios. Pushing enemies, escaping fights, and seeking better positioning will be made easy with Pathfinder. Plus, his zipline makes him one of the best team-rotating legends on the roster.
One of the most underrated Legends in the game is Mad-Maggie. Hermassivebuff seems to have gone under the radar entirely. If you find yourself camping inside a building with a Mad-Maggie outside, you’re in some serious danger. Her tactical can make any cover an instant hazard, and her devastating ultimate will completely knock out any traps you have set up.

Ash is perhapsthegreatest Legend when it comes to rotating her team. Both rapid and 100% safe, Ash’s ultimate will grant her and her teammates the advantage in any fight in an instant. Don’t forget to use her tactical on enemies whether they are running away or chasing you, as it will truly throw a wrench in their plans. Just be mindful of scanning thosedeathboxes, as doing so will also alert the enemy team of your presence.
Bloodhound
Since the launch of Apex, Bloodhound has remained in anextremelybalanced state. Unfortunately, the launch of Seer meant that Bloodhound’s tactical and passive had more effective counterparts. However, the viability of Bloodhound’s ultimate cannot be overstated. Any Apex veteran will agree that hearing the sound-cue of Bloodhound’s ultimate being activated strikes fear in the enemy team.
Wraith is popular among the pros for a reason: her versatility isunrivaled. When utilized correctly, Wraith easily makes the jump to S-tier. This, however, takes hundreds of hours of playtime as her, and the average player is not going to have that. That is not to say though that even a beginner cannot make her a force to be reckoned with. Her portals make for some hilarious and impressive plays, while her passive can be the difference between an ambush and a fair fight for her team.
