Alongside the upcoming kick for theApex LegendsGlobal Series Tournament, Respawn is running a new “Grand Soirée” event starting January 14 and running for two weeks. Check it out below.
Apex Legends' Grand Soirée Arcade Event brings quite a bit of new content to the game. Obviously, the biggest addition is all the new modes. Every two days during the two-week event, a new mode will open up. Some of these will be ones players know and love, while others will be completely new experiences. It total, there will be seven modes for you to try out during the event.
And while you’re enjoying all that these arcade modes have to offer, you’ll be earning progress on the new Event Prize Track. Respawn has gone in and redone how they handle event challenges for the Grand Soirée. Each mode has three challenges for you to complete. As you check them off the list, you’ll gain points. You’ll then move up the prize track where more and more prestigious awards await you.
Everything is wrapped up in a stunning Art Deco-inspired style. If any of these skins really tickle your fancy, but you don’t have time to invest in the event itself, Respawn has good news. The skins will be purchasable out of the Event Shop. However, the skins will come through the shop on a rotating basis. So, you’ll need to keep an eye on things to ensure you get the one you want.
ThoughApex Legendshas endured a few bumps (and even a fewblunders) along the road, the game remains one of the best battle royale games around. The Grand Soirée looks like one of their best events yet. I’m excited to jump in and see some of these new modes for myself.
