Tomorrow brings a new season forDiablo 4, and that comes alongside a whole host of changes. The ever-glorious patch notes are here to shed light on what’s to come.
Changes are fairly extensive, and Blizzard hasmade no secretof how they intend to tackle the game going forward. The Season 8 patch notes tackle a lot, but one thing they detail is how they’ve made the game’s bosses a lot more deadly.

Endgame bosses- now, “Lair Bosses” - are all going to get a bit tougher to take down, with Lair Boss Keys promising a new reward system.
Belial’s the headliner here, for obvious reasons, and he’s seen a bit of a power boost following the PTR beta tests. More damage, more tricks, and more in general - a higher health pool means you’ll see a lot more of Belial before reaching victory.

And he’s not alone here. All the other Lair Bosses got a power boost from this patch - so much so that’s it’s easier to list where things aren’t deadlier (thanks,Gamespot). Varshan takes that title; Tormented Echo of Varshan has been made more readable.

Diablo 4 Season 8 Patch Notes List Class Changes
The game’s classes also got some touch-ups in the latest Season 8 patch. Starting with Barbarian, Whirlwind powers got some notable buffs, with a developer’s note showing how they want to make Whirlwind builds more viable. There are also some slight damage increases, and cost decreases, on some of the class' other tools.
Druids got some buffs of their own, including a passive damage increase to 90% - up from 31% - on Ravens. Rogue, Necromancer, and Sorcerer also got some special treats - again, you can view theofficial patch notesfor a by-the-numbers breakdown.
