Vegeta and Bulma are easilyDragon Ball‘s power couple. It all started with Bulma inviting her future prince to come live in her home at Capsule Corporation along with the Namekians. But then they married out of nowhere during the 3 timeskip in the Android Saga and even produced a baby.
Fans have no clue how Bulma convinced Vegeta to make love to her but it eventually worked out well for Future Trunks. During that time, Vegeta had no attachment to Bulma or his child. He was more than happy to give them up in exchange for a good fight. But, in the climax of the Cell Saga, Vegeta rushed in with full outrage to attack Perfect Cell after seeing Future Trunks die.
And later in the Buu Saga, the Prince sacrificed himself for the sake of his loved ones, Bulma, Trunks, and Kakarot. This was the start of a new beginning but earlier, it wasn’t like that. Both of these characters were filled with something that was inherently theirs.
The main reason why Vegeta and Bulma are perfect for each other
They say that opposites attract one another but in this case, there’s a strong common bond that ties both Vegeta and Bulma together. And that is their strong desire to satisfy their own needs before others.
Think about it, Bulma began her journey to search for the Dragon Balls just to get a boyfriend. And she roped Goku into it with a false promise that he’d get the 4-star Dragon Ball back (a.k.a. his grandfather’s ball). That is because Oolong made the wish of getting a pair of panties and after that, the Dragon Balls scattered all over the planet.

Meanwhile, Bulma realized she already found a boyfriend in Yamcha and the two of them headed off elsewhere, leaving Goku behind. Hence, the little Saiyan kid ventured on to find the Dragon Balls on his own and only towards the end of the Red Ribbon Army did Roshi and the others showed up.
But, there’s one thing that happened in the past that will make fans believe that Bulma was made for Vegeta. In episode 2 of the originalDragon Ballseries, Goku volunteers to help a turtle make it to the ocean, even though it’s more than 100 miles away. But, Bulma insisted it would be too laborious to return the turtle to the water. Fortunately, Goku’s compassion and determination triumphed in this conflict, which benefitted Bulma since they were granted a Dragon Ball as a result.

Going out of her way to help a complete stranger accomplishes very little; all she could muster was a dish of water for the turtle. Unless it serves her own self-interest, Bulma is utterly hesitant to help out other people. And this is exactly how Vegeta would act. During his Saiyan Saga days, he wouldn’t have cared less if the turtle was dying out of thirst. He’d just left him there or, even worse, killed the turtle himself and looked for something else to kill.
Perhaps it’s Bulma’s lust for bad men and their inherent selfishness inadvertently made her feel attracted to Vegeta, even though he was one of the reasons why her ex-boyfriend died in the first place. Their relationship flourished even further inDragon Ball Super.
Bulma and Chichi were built to marry Saiyan men
After the sacrifice in the Buu Saga, Vegeta made sure he fought not only for himself but to protect his family. That’s why, after losing to Jiren in the Tournament of Power, he teared up and felt apologetic to Trunks and Bulma for not being the one to save their Universe.
Vegeta also admitted that he is attracted to Bulma because of her overbearing personality. InDragon Ball Super, the Saiyan Prince revealed, much to Piccolo’s surprise, that Saiyan men love strong willed women who are willing to kick their butt whenever they’re pissed off. Fans have seen Chichi and Bulma get mad at their husbands multiple times and even slapped them if they went too far.

The same applies for Gohan as well. Videl is probably the Earth’s strongest female human and is the daughter of Mr. Satan. She was also very feisty and rough towards Gohan before she became attracted to him.
Saiyan men find temper and a strong attitude as attractive traits and that’s why Goku doesn’t mind getting himself beaten up by Chichi whenever he comes back home from training. This seems like masochist behavior but it’s not. The olderDragon Ballfans will know.
