86 Eighty-Sixis a popular Japanese anime series based on a light novel written by Asato Asato and illustrated by Shirabii. The anime adaptation by A-1 pictures premiered earlier this year in April. The first part of the season ended on June 27th with a total of 11 episodes.
Initially, the showrunners said that86 Eighty-Six’sfirst season would be divided into two parts. So, technically, the upcoming season is called ‘Season 1 Part 2’. However, Crunchyroll and several other platforms have also been marketing Part 2 as a second season.
