The Killer’s Gameis based on Jay Bonansinga’s novel which follows a skilled assassin named Joe Flood, portrayed by Bautista. The character is living with a terminal illness and wishes to secure his loved one’s future, so he hires a team of killers to put an end to him. In a twist of events, Flood’s sickness was a complete mistake, and he must try to stop the army he hired to kill him.
Director J.J. Perry’s action-comedy project has been brewing at the headquarters for almost two decades now.Jason Stathamwas the original actor tapped to play the lead, but now, Bautista will take on the role as well as co-executive produce the film.

The cast also includes Ben Kingsley, Sofia Boutella, Ice Cube, Pom Klementieff, Scott Adkins, and Drew McIntyre.The Killer’s Gamehas no release date at the moment, and production is yet to commence.

Both actors have been in talks for the buddy action comedy way before the strike happened.
