It seems 2024 might turn out to be the worst year ever for a lot of celebrities. From the recent arrest of Sean Diddy Comb to now MrBeast being sued, things keep getting interesting and shocking. The acclaimed YouTuber and media personality, along with Amazon, has been sued by unnamed contestants from his popularBeast Gamescompetition.

The YouTuber is known for making contestants compete in bizarre challenges and games for prize money and is set to bring about one of the biggest reality TV shows along with Amazon. However, before hisBeast Gamesshow could air, his image is in serious trouble given the recent lawsuit.

Jimmy Donaldson, better known as the YouTuberMrBeastis set to expand his empire viaa reality TV show in collaboration with Amazon. An extension of his YouTube channel, where he has contestants try extreme challenges, he is set to bring about one of the biggest reality TV shows of all time.
With over 2,000 contestants participating for a $5 million grand prize, the first leg of the competition has already been completed with 1,000 contestants already disqualified. Poised as the biggest TV show of all time with a scale that has never been attempted before, there apparently have been more than a few problems (viaRolling Stone).

Five unnamed contestants ofBeast Gameshave filed a class-action lawsuit against the YouTuber and Amazon, alleging that the show put them through extreme conditions, including s*xual harassment and more. Filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, according to the redacted copy of thecomplaint, the lawsuit demands MrBeast’s company and Amazon pay alleged unpaid wages and punitive monetary damages as well (viaVariety).
While there have been no comments made so far from Amazon or MrBeast, the lawsuit is seriously threatening to both the YouTuber and the company’s image.

The lawsuit filed by the contestants claims several of them were deprived of food, sleep, medical care, and even basic hygiene necessities. There are also charges of alleged sxual harassment and an employee handbook detailing conduct that seems borderline sxual harassment nature.
